Tasting notes :
Decanter (Georgina Hindle) Cuvée 2022 : 92/100
Cool blue fruit aromas. Sappy, bright and energetic, a nice clean liveness here, not trying too hard, straight and quite lean but stays the right side of too austere. Delicate, a bit shy right now, more calm but with detail and definition.
I like the ripe and fresh blueberries and black cherries with a saline, mineral undertone. Compelling, quietly confident and stylish.
(incidentally, I had a 1969 at Christmas that was delicious, so a good name to know!).
Harvest 8 september - 27 september. Ageing 18 months: 44% large barrel, 37% barrels, 13% steel, 6% amphora.
