Vinification & ageing :
Harvesting is done manually. The wine comes from an alcoholic fermentation by hot maceration in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks. After draining, malolactic fermentation follows. The breeding lasts 6 months.
Tasting :
It is a fresh wine with an open nose with aromas of red fruits and notes of chocolate. On the palate, we find this freshness, a delicate roundness ans light tannins accompanied by notes of dried fruit. This Saumur goes very well with simmered meats.
